I would never have believed it if I didn't try it for myself: you don't have to use oil to get onions and garlic yummy and tender. The documentary @_eatingyoualive taught me that you can saute them in vegetable broth and when it evaporates you have the same end product but without the oil. Kind of amazing. #thingsthatexciteme ...used this to make @thevegan8 vegan garlic Alfredo sauce and it's blowing our minds. My kids say it's like the best nacho cheese meets the best Mac n cheez ever.
