This is just downright disturbing. A cat owner posted this photo of their cat and the Certificate of Bravery he was awarded by the vet who declawed him. I added the photo of what cat toes look like after these unethical vets chop, burn, or slice them off, in case you have never seen it.
Please tag two of your friends so they will join us to end this unnecessary and very painful torturous procedure that is done to 2 million cats a year in America, mostly for the welfare of a sofa. ??? This practice says they do around 6 declaws a week, and said they did 3 declaws the day my investigator called them for a declaw price.
They charge $160 for the scalpel method or $211 for their laser method. So on a low estimate, this small practice makes over $40,000 a year amputating cat’s toes.
The cat owner that posted this also posted that this poor cat had to go back to this practice because this cat's paws were still "bothering him" 10 days after the toe bone amputation. Folks this is pure torture and always causes negative consequences for the cat for its lifetime no matter HOW the amputations are done.
This practice says that they would rather have a cat in a home and declawed than not having a home. What about humanely having a cat in a home with it’s paws intact and with sturdy scratchers and nail trims??
They also recommend 4 paw declaws for “people in nursing homes or health reasons.”
PLEASE HELP US END DECLAWING. WE MUST STOP THESE UNETHICAL VETS FROM HARMING SO MANY CATS FOR A LIFETIME AND PROFITING FROM IT!???
There is a bill in NJ to ban declawing and we need your help to get it passed.The ONLY organization that is fighting to stop our important cat protection bill is the NJVMA.
