Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon. Verily to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. I was very saddened to hear of the loss of more than 40 people in the PK661 plane crash in Pakistan today, including well-known brother Junaid Jamshed.

Brother Junaid was one of the biggest rock stars in Pakistan in the 80's, 90's right up to 2004 when he decided to leave all that behind him and dedicate his life to charitable causes and calling people towards Allah. His Islamic Naats & nasheeds touched the hearts of millions with their spiritual and meaningful messages, such as Mera dil badal day.

This song is a poignant reminder that we should change for the better before its too late.
