Today our world lost a little light. My heart is heavy as I process the news of my grandmother passing. As a kid I never understood her accent but she tried to teach me Dutch. We bonded over baking, knitting and our love for candy. She was thoughtful and her love was endless. She had 11 kids, so many grandkids, and too many great grandkids to count.... each an extension of her love. Somehow she always made me feel I was her favorite and special to her. She was such an inspiration to me and I shall miss her squeezes, winks and stories! I love you grandma Nellie.... till I see you again you remain in my heart! #rip
