Hi everyone, we want to introduce you to this month's Pumpkin Pal! Meet Lucky!?This special little pup had a traumatizing 5 days after being trapped in an open septic tank near an unfinished building. A neighbour decided to do some investigating after hearing what she assumed was a neighbour's dog barking. Worried for the dog's safety, she began searching for the pup and was shocked to find poor Lucky at the bottom of an open septic tank. She quickly contacted the Bahamas Humane Society and they responded immediately to rescue this little love. She was treated, cared for and given a much needed bath! The rescuers said it was emotional and rewarding to see her eat her first meal in 5 days. The kind neighbour who made the discovery appositely gave Lucky her name. Please help us find her forever home!
