We gotta stop wearing all of our wealth for others. Ever see folks that are all iced out but have room mates? Or drive a Bentley but own nothing? People counting money on the gram but that's ALL the money to their name?? I get how in this social media driven world that we all want to be recognized, admired & praised for the fruits of our labor & that's cool & all but sometimes it's not always putting out the best message. I show a lil to encourage others but I see a lot of my people really getting things they can not really afford to impress others OR an even a worse offense is buying fake designer pieces or counterfeit jewelry to look the part that you really haven't reached yet. Honestly it's better to just wait until it's real and effortless. I enjoy a great piece just like the next one but it's gotta be FOR me- not for others. You notice some of the richest people in the world are low key? No labels on everything, no obnoxious Jewlery, nothing. Why? Because they are not trying to prove to anyone else that they are winning- they just WIN. Then on the flip side how many times do we see people who are straight up struggling to keep their head above water and they are breaking their backs to let you know they got red bottoms, or whatever other designer they feel will validate them-- and validate them in the eyes of STRANGERS. That's the sad part. I remember during one of my struggle years my ex bought me some fake Christian Loubotin heels (I didn't know they were fakes until I sniffed them and they smelled like gasoline!) ? and I remember thinking "damn you think this is THAT important that a fake is better than none at all?" I was never about that life. I'd rather be criticized that "she ain't got the newest pieces" but smile confidently every time I look at my account when I do my online banking. My point is- the ones that really have it- aren't trying to advertise it. They just got it. Just some encouragement to Those looking at others "success" and may be feeling like they aren't measuring up. Just know- many of the people you're looking at and are envious of-AINT measuring up either. I'm not saying to never share-just don't let it RULE your world #Balance
