circa 1994, Chuck Flores Jazz class at MI in Hollywood. Sadly, we lost Chuck recently. What an absolutely wonderful human being he was. So many fond memories of Chuck. I remember the first day I showed up to his jazz class and him ripping on me for trying to play a swing tune with Regal 2s drum sticks (doesn't work) lol!! He taught me so much about nuance and musicality, I'm so grateful I had the chance to study with him. A true gentleman, outstanding teacher and mentor he was to so many. He will be missed!
