Very humbling to share a panel with HIV/AIDS Activists Jonah Chunga and Juliana Odindo tonight in honor of #WorldAIDSDay. Juliana spoke about growing up in Kenya with HIV, losing both parents to AIDS at a young age. She spoke of the difficulties of hiding her status, sneaking her medicine in school & spoke of the reality that if our new president cuts overseas funding for AIDS treatment, treatment keeping her, and millions like her alive, that she will soon die. @pepfar is currently keeping 11.5 million people alive on ARVs and Activists like Juliana are working hard to keep the next generation of girls HIV negative, and focused on our goal of an AIDS-free Generation. We are closer than ever.
