There was this training program and then 3 months of training, and 3 months of working on projects. And after the 3 months, I got to jump on to this short. It was amazing. It was part of my biggest dream to someday work with [Mark Henn, who also contributed hand-drawn animation to the short] and I never imagined it would happen this early. It was such an honor."
