Happy birthday to performance artist #MarinaAbramović! In 2005 Abramović staged seven consecutive nights of performances in our rotunda for "Seven Easy Pieces," reenacting crucial works by her peers dating from the 1960s and ’70s. The project was based on the fact that little documentation exists for most performances from that critical time period, often relying on testimonies from witnesses or photographs that show only portions of any given piece.
