“I like the change from running to skiing because I love contrasts. That means I can also long to run again when the spring is coming,” Emelie Forsberg says.

Here are @tinaemelie's top tips for transitioning from running to ski mountaineering:
1. Start slow when you change sports or try new ones. Get your body adapted first.
2. Train with others if you are new in a sport. It’ll be more fun and you’ll learn so much.
3. I don´t normally like to have races as goals, but more objectives I want to learn and achieve both physically and mentally. I think that sometimes if we focus too much on a race, we can ignore what our bodies tell us. BUT I like goals! So that´s my third tip: have a goal but remember that your body is worth more happy and healthy than over-trained just because of a goal!
