'Alexandra Shulman is now focusing on the launch of two books: her personal diaries from the 100th year and Vogue – Voice Of A Century, an impressively recherché paean to the magazine’s cultural standing. It’s a mixed-media monograph, hand-bound in leather and with a limited print run of 1,916 copies. ‘I wanted to create new content, not just to anthologise the old,’ she says, gesturing at shelves piled high with the colourful Vogue-branded picturebooks that already ornament coffee-tables in the right sorts of houses. ‘I really wanted it to be about the magazine, not the photographs – and to make something magnificent.’ @_harrywalker1 meets @British Vogue editor @alexandravogue in this week's #TheStyleReport.
