More than 500 children from 13 schools in Port Moresby turned up this morning at PNG Football Stadium to celebrate the completion of the FIFA '11 for Health' training programme. The children demonstrated their new skills gained in the programme which encompasses simple messages on prevention that are linked to a specific football action. The 11 key messages are: play football, respect girls and women, protect yourself from HIV and TB, avoid drugs and alcohol, use treated bed nets, wash your hands, drink clean water, eat a balanced diet, get vaccinated, take your prescribed medication and fair play.
