Thinking about the Native American people on this day. Part of my heritage is being part Narragansett Indian. I don't rock with what they'd like us to think this holiday is about (especially after seeing what this shady ass country has done and continues to do to American Indians- like the people of Standing Rock), BUT I do like the part about giving thanks for the good things we do have and for the people we are grateful to have in our lives. I like to use this holiday to spend time with loved ones since I spend the majority of my time far away from my family. Also to think of those less fortunate that are in need. I pray those that don't have what they want and need get it all. I pray that those seeking love and peace of mind get it. I pray those that feel cheated in life- get blessed. I pray people chose love over hate. Positivity over negativity. Passion over indifference. Life is short and those of us that have been blessed- it didn't have to be that way- so please be grateful my friends. Ego and entitlement is not your friend- humility and kindness is.
