As we were returning from our hike we caught glimpses of the sunset through the trees. We picked up our pace and raced back to the car so we could head down the mountian a little to the closest clearing that would give us this view. With our shoes full of snow we made it just in time to see the last of the light cresting over the tops of the the adjacent hills. With our now soaking wet feet we stood there in awe as we watched the beautiful colors wash across the snow covered trees.
