Don't u hate when people say nothin like the good 'ol days. But in this case back in 2006-2009 there was something really special brewing mainly cuz it was the start of a movement started up by @etjusticepourtous & the @edbanger family. The way I see it Justice was the first group to really disrupt dance music. They were punk. Their sound and attitude built a culture outside of the commercial dance space that became so loud and raucous that everyone had to take note. But this era was Pre EDM where this sound only lived in small clubs and you'd have to go there to experience it. We had a special bond with the french squad and our LA x French alliance kept the boys coming back to our Dim Mak Tuesdays in Hollywood, Banana Split w/ my brother DJ Am RIP and memories were made there. A lot of them to only a few hundred people. And ICYMI there was @thecobrasnake that ? it all. Really was a special time in LA. There is no doubt that Justice played a pivotal and significant part in me as a producer and dj. I found myself going back to my roots in hardcore & noise & all that energy embracing that in my music and my live shows. Incredibly inspirational. Thank you Justice for changing my life. ??????
