My mom lost a friend today?, so I'm here for her and being the best lap kitty ever. ❤️
Her friend was a good man. His work was his passion and his life. When he became sick and had to leave the job that had meant everything to him, it was devastating.
While he was at his apartment, battling his cancer, my mom told him all about me, and he started watching my Youtube videos. He told her that those videos brought joy to what was a very dark and tough time. He became a cat lover and even welcomed a neighbor's cat (with claws) who would regularly come and visit him and even lay on him and give him comfort. He believed in my cause and my mom gave him the very first copy of my new book and he loved it. He also loved dogs but could never have one because he worked so much. My mom would make sure to bring my sister, @misslulularoo with her when she visited and she really brightened his day.
One of her friends who is an award winning sports columnist, Bill Plaschke, wrote a story that we all can relate to because we all have a Joe Resnick in our lives.
