After a pretty disappointing week, I thought it might be great to take my #SPNBur meet & greet out to hand out supplies to the homeless. I asked people coming to the convention to bring a backpack with some donations that we could deliver.
As usual, you guys went above and beyond. I should be used to it by now, but I was once again overwhelmed by your generosity.

In total you all donated almost 3 full car loads of supplies for a total of:

105 backpacks
17 totes
5 shopping bags

All were filled to bursting with food, socks, hygiene supplies, hand warmers & emergency blankets. But that's not all. You also donated:

11 cases of water
1 massive box + one 20-gallon trash bag filled with tampons & pads
4 sleeping bags
4 cases of juice boxes
One case of granola bars & assorted food.
Donations were distributed to homeless on the streets in:

North Hollywood
Burbank
Los Feliz
Hollywood
Downtown LA/Skid Row

Additionally, one large donation was made to the Downtown Women's Center and another large donation was made to the union rescue mission.

You helped so many people this weekend. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support.
