#Molly?Squad update: A while ago, somebody asked me how Molly, my FELV positive and handicapped cat, is doing. I'm sorry it took so long to update (and that I rarely talk about her) but I hope you read on to understand why. Molly lives in a cage in the cats' former playroom (see #?SquadPlayroom) because she has a cancer-causing virus that is highly transmissible. When I have shown her living in a cage, I've had several comments previously misunderstanding why she's "locked up" but it is for the safety and well-being of the 11 other cats that I look after. She is technically my foster and up for adoption, but nobody has inquired about her and so I've come to think of her as one of my own. Despite her illness and slight disability, Molly is active, super chatty and affectionate. The mess you see in her cage btw is scraps of toilet paper that we discovered she likes, to make a "nest "out of. It's messy but it makes her happy so we give her what she wants. After all, with her diagnosis, she might only have about 2 to 3 more years to live and we want her to have the best quality of life she can have with us. Ideally, she would be adopted out and have an entire home to explore and play a nap in, but she's not exactly sought after. Anyway, thank you for reading this update and an especially big thank you once again to everyone who supported, reposted and/or donated. I wouldn't be able to do any of this without you! x Cora-Leigh
