As many of you know, I lost my dad to Kidney Cancer three and a half years ago. Shortly after,my sisters, mom and I joined Our House. The incredible Los Angeles based organization provides grief support services, education to medical schools and hospitals, resources for the community, and sometimes more importantly HOPE. For over two decades, Our House has helped thousands of grieving children and adults as they embark upon their journey to hope and healing. My sister, Ashley, has now become a board member of the organization for over two years. This year she has really taken the reins and is using her event planning skills by chairing and organizing a Stand Up Comedy Night also known as "The Night For Hope" in order to raise awareness and funds for grief support services. My dad loved a good joke, so to honor him and bring smiles to our faces like he used to do, come join us tonight from 7pm-11pm at the Regent Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles for a Night of Comedy hosted by Bob Saget.
