A little bit of luck goes a long way - Last week I did a quick sunrise photo Safari mission with my friend @andy_mann to start the day off right. As we were driving home we spotted this beautiful #coyote on the move in a field and I quickly parked the car and grabbed my beast of a camera out of the back seat. My 600mm f/4 lens was still mounted on it from the early morning shoot and without checking the settings I started down the trail stealthily in slow pursuit. I spotted him in a trot and as I started shooting photos I could hear that the camera shutter speed was VERY slow. For photo nerds like me - I had left the camera in full manual at 1/20th second, f/16 from earlier while taking some slow panning shots like this of a heard of elk. I quickly made some changes thinking I blew the shot of the coyote but was pleasantly surprised to later find this photo on the card. ?
