"I am so fortunate to have many things inspire me with my work behind the chair. My university training in color theory and principles has given me a strong foundation in understanding color as a hairdresser. I would work on canvas using vivid acrylic paints for vibrancy, then overlay with oils for depth. I find my work as a hair colorist more exciting even today because technology in hair color has grown tremendously.
