It's not every day you come across a pink lake! This fascinating work of mother nature is Hutt Lagoon, and you'll find it in @australiascoralcoast just north of the port city of #Geraldton. This remarkable phenomenon is caused by an organic red pigment in the lake's algae, and depending on the time of day, season and the amount of cloud cover, the lake changes from a reddish-pink to a lilac purple.
