My project for the day is done! I moved our cat tree to the laundry room upstairs, along with vacuumed, cleaned, and glued/stapled the ropes that were coming off the scratch posts. A lot have asked or wondered how Thomas is doing and I haven't been very active in answering. Sorry! He is doing the same-ish. A few weeks ago we honestly considered giving him a new home with a great IG cat mom many of you know, but in the end it didn't feel right for anyone. I love him so much that I was willing to give him away so he could be happier. Since Sunday we have been shutting him in the laundry room at night to sleep after his latest accident on our bed. Additionally, I knew that with my baby coming in the next couple weeks or so I wasn't going to want to clean up his trips to the bathroom (peeing/pooping in my bathtub) whenever he decided to go, as it had become the only place he'd go and I had enabled his bad habit. So far so good! We shut our bedroom door during the day and let him hang out in our bedroom when we are in there - until bedtime. It's still too early to tell how it will keep up but he is using the litter boxes exclusively now. He doesn't love being in the laundry room alone at night but it's a situation that is working for all of us right now. In an effort to make it more cozy I moved the cat tree in there and plan to get another for downstairs. I am excited for the future with Thomas and while I know there will still be ups and downs, for now, it appears as if we are stuck with each other. ❤️ #littledumdums
