??In honor of #VeteransDay meet our new squadron of pelicans on American Trail! The pelicans were named by veterans in our own Zoo family. Pappy is named after Major Gregory “Pappy” Boyington, a Marine and flying ace in WWII. Scout was named after a job one of our own Marine Corps veterans had, scout sniper. And Huey is named after the military helicopter. Thank you to all veterans for your service!??
