Over the past 24 hours, tens of thousands have protested the results of the U.S. election, taking to the streets and social media to voice sentiments of rage, fear, and unity in the face of a Trump presidency.
One target of these protests is the electors of the Electoral College, who do not actually cast their ballots until December 19. While it is a long shot, it would still be within their rights to vote for Clinton—who won the popular vote by 200,000.
