@ryangallant33 had talked about possibly trying the kickflip backside noseblunt on Clipper for a year or so after we first started skating together. We started to hear rumors of other skaters wanting to try it as well so we decided to make a trip up to SF and check it out. Ryan had never been to the hubba before so he wasn’t claiming he was going to do it before looking at it. We got in town late at night and checked out Clipper right away. Ryan said he was down to come back, so the next day we came back and he stuck it and rolled away for a few feet before falling off. Unfortunately, he ended up getting sore and not getting it before we headed home. We knew we had to go back immediately so in a couple weekends we were back in SF. Ryan wanted to get it over with so first thing in the morning we were back at Clipper. He grinded one backside then slid one backside noseblunt and then went straight for the kickflip back noseblunt and almost did it first try. 10 minutes later, he was rolling away. I get asked quite often what my favorite trick is that I’ve ever filmed and this may be the one due to seeing everything that went into getting it, as well as it being a trick for the history books. ?:@timcisilino #SkateboardingIsFun
