So....today's #nationaldonutday - for the second time this year. I read that the first "National Donut Day" on the first Friday of June was originally established in 1938 by the Chicago #SalvationArmy @Salarmychicago to honor women who served donuts to soldiers in the front lines of France in World War I (They fried them in helmets!)
