Kelly and her father have had season tickets for eight years, but now, she’s spending her games with her husband, sitting near Willie Horton’s statue in left field. “My husband and I first met through a work softball team,” Kelly said, “and one night we stayed late for after-game drinks just talking Tigers and bonding over 'Helmet Nachos' from Comerica Park. Of course, he was intrigued to meet a girl who loved baseball - but baseball and the Tigers were definitely stepping stones for getting to know each other and falling in love."
