A plea to my followers: I have a pretty clear liberal voice, and I can't imagine that many of you that follow me plan to vote for Trump. So I want to talk to all you cool cats that plan to vote independent. I understand! In a perfect world, we would have someone like Bernie or maybe Jill represent us. We wouldn't have to compromise on many aspects of what should be inalienable rights, we wouldn't have to feel like we are slaves to corporations. Unfortunately, we're not there quite yet. All we can do is deal with what we have right now: a two party system and an upsetting election year. And as such; we have to deal with the reality of what our vote means. At this point, voting outside of the two major candidates is dangerous. You may hate Hillary, and I understand. But please, the alternative is truly terrifying. And if you are voting independent, you are giving him a greater opportunity to win. You are not necessarily throwing away your vote, I understand the personal value of voting for what you truly believe in. But please, PLEASE think about the grave reality of the situation. I am BEGGING you guys to vote for Hillary. We need all the help we can get, and the small percentage of people that will vote independent could make all the difference in the race between the major candidates. I cry thinking about what could happen on Tuesday. Please at least consider helping to protect us against him. And if you already plan to vote for her, talk to your friends. Try to convince them to do the same. Post something like this. DO SOMETHING. It's too close for comfort you guys!
