LAZARUS IN AT #1 ON OFFICIAL UK VINYL CHART “I’m so high it makes my brain whirl...” Congratulations are due to Michael C Hall (Newton), Michael Esper (Valentine) and Sophia Anne Caruso (Girl) and the New York cast of the Lazarus Musical, with the news that their Lazarus Cast Album has entered the
UK’s Official Vinyl Album Chart at #1 and #10 on the Official Albums Chart Top 100 (includes all formats). The album is also #8 in the Official Physical Albums Chart (doesn’t include digital). (28 October 2016 - 03 November 2016)

We must also congratulate Henry Hey, orchestrator, arranger and musical director for Lazarus, for his brilliant work on these new arrangements of Bowie’s music.

As you know, Donny McCaslin and his band are the musicians behind the sound of David Bowie’s ★ album. They are also the band that played on the four Bowie originals, which appear on the Lazarus Cast Album as an extra disc.

Aside from Lazarus topping the vinyl chart, ★ and Hunky Dory remain in the Top 40.
