Please take the time to watch this documentary #AutismInLove ...not only does it give you a glimpse of the struggles of what an autistic adult goes through in their love lives BUT also what they go through socially. Brings #Awareness as well as to what a "high functioning adult" on the spectrum is like, some of their characteristics...I couldnt tell you how many times I've come across high functioning autistic adults that I could recognize BUT only because I have a son on the spectrum. So many people have told me that my son does not "look" autistic. Autism does not have a "look"....some characteristics are: no eye contact, robotic speech, spitting facts, not following conversation, avoiding touch, repetitive talk, may seem emotionless or sometimes the opposite and are extremely loving...these beautiful souls need Patience, Love & Understanding and yes they do know and they actually feel VERY deeply, i believe MORE than we do...
