Jeans for Refugees' is a Johny Dar project and artistic fundraising initiative dedicated to helping refugees from around the world, with all proceeds going to the International Rescue Committee. Our support is needed more than ever. There are 65 million people displaced in the world.They are suffering immense trauma, and women and children are often the worst affected: an estimated one in five displaced and refugee women has been subjected to sexual violence. On average, it is 17 years before refugees and internally displaced people are able to return home.The conflicts that force them to flee burn on for an average of 37 years.
