Reposting this because who wouldn't?????✨ I was stuffed up my room all week with the flu and i realised a coupla things bout 2016 (Original I know ?) - one being that even tho it is fun to to have a perfectly symmetrical and organised IG feed I don't have the attention span nor the time or energy to plan my next three photos and what filters and boarders and colours and shapes and sizes and bla bla blaaaa - it got me thinking about social media in general and how we use it and there's just too many things going on in the world, too many things to care about, too many things to fight for and educate yourself about and work towards changing - that a pretty IG feed doesn't compromise for passion or good health or kindness or creativity or intelligence - it is after all just a carefully edited snapshot into stranger's lives, showing only what they want you to see ? What started out as a little bit of fun got me thinking of the bigger picture and what I'm really here standing for - and I kinda understood that all I want my Social Media to be is an authentic, direct reflection of me and everything I love - bringing you memories and poetry and art and music and photography and inner thoughts and random philosophisings and issues that need to be heard and all the things that I really care about - I'm not a very symmetrical person so from now on I'm just gonna go back to the gorgeous little squares of life and love and colour and truth!!!!! ?✌?❤️
