A bit over a week ago now I attended the first stop of the new @usaclimbing Bouldering National Cup Series, Yank and Yard. Since I had not been climbing that long since coming back from my injury I wanted to go to the comp with little expectations, HAHA! Learning that isn't possible for me! Well, I was very pleased with my redpoint round performance! ? Going into Finals the next day I knew anything could happen and it all comes down to how I felt and how I would internally deal with my expectations and pressure I put on myself. I did find myself in a bad head space with some negative thoughts a couple times, but the positive was that I was able to fight back! ? It was a close finals with little @brookeclimbs just a few falls behind me. Taking another 1st Place victory in a row is a nice confidence booster! ?The young guns are getting really strong and harder to beat! ?
