Hello! @ashleygoldberg back again today. I mentioned in my last post many of patterns are black and white and focus on mark making. My other most common patterns are painterly abstracts. Sometimes I create the pattern all on one page and other times I make a pile of paintings and digitally combine my favorite brushstrokes and elements. I love the #SakuraKoi watercolors for this technique. Lately my studio is filled with patterns using the combination of lemon yellow, pale orange, and a mix of the blues.
