?Bao Bao is moving to China next year! We’re sad to see her go, but excited for the role she is going to play in global panda conservation! As part of our breeding agreement with the China Wildlife Conservation Association, all giant panda cubs born at the Zoo move to China by the time they are 4 years old. Bao Bao will be 4 next August. She will make the move in the next few months during late winter 2017. We’ll have special opportunities to celebrate her and say goodbye, so stay tuned for more details! After she reaches sexual maturity, between 5 and 6 years old, Bao Bao will enter the breeding program in China and will hopefully have her own cubs someday. #PandaStory #WeSaveSpecies @fonznationalzoo
