So for years and years I had heard about this mythical suitcase full of #vintage fetish shoes and boots from the Irving Klaw studios, which is the place #Bettie Page took all of those infamous bondage photos and videos. Through many different connections, not to mention a little begging and pleading...I was finally invited to view this suitcase, and that is when I acquired the very pair Bettie was photographed most often wearing, along with her original model release. Aside from that fantastic Holy Grail pair, I also purchased these simply because the shape is so beautiful. There's a little bit of a mystery to them; upon close examination, one can see that they once had some kind of strap and button on them. I've been doing research to try to find out what's missing from them so I can restore them properly. If you zoom in closely you can see where there was a button or some kind of round ornament. On the other side, not shown , there's just a little bit of deteriorated elastic near the arch that must have been attached to a strap.
