Fernando Ricksen was a fan favourite at his clubs, for his never-say-die attitude. He's now fighting another battle, against Motor Neurone Disease, otherwise known as #ALS.
Last night, @クリスティアーノ・ロナウド invited Fernando and his family to be his guest. And post-match presented Fernando with his shirt.
Recently Fernando said: "I'm not scared, as what's going to happen is inevitable. I maybe only have a few years to live. I want to see my daughter growing up. That's what I'll fight for."
