Steve Wynn is one of my biggest heroes. I lived in Las Vegas for 2 1/2 years and I saw Steve built the Encore Hotel from nothing. I was there 2 nights before the opening and I remember seeing him walk through the new hotel looking at everything just by himself. His attention to detail changed my life forever. One of the most important things that I learned from him is that in business, bad times will always come, it's not a matter of if they'll come, but when they'll come, so one has to be prepared for those times. And when the bubble exploded, his brand was the one that didn't suffer because he was prepared. It was a tough time for everyone, but he protected his workers while the other groups almost went bankrupt. Oh, and he shook Sinatra's hand too...
