Today we launch our new Instagram series Visages - Faces of Montréal by local photographer @NaskaDemini: a celebration of key players in Montréal’s cultural scene and those who helped bring the Academy here to life. First up is @zebulonperron, a local designer responsible for transforming the @phicentre into a multi-faceted creative space that includes a lecture hall, music studios, radio station, lounge and cafeteria. A firm believer in people and experimentation, the spaces are intimate, colorful – and filled with greenery.

"For me it was very interesting because I have a background mostly in hospitality: a lot of restaurants, a lot of bars. It's really about people being together and interacting and creating these situations where that’s going to be facilitated. There's a lot of that here because I think one of the main goals is to get the participants to collaborate, get them to exchange, get them to learn from one another." - @zebulonperron
