Our Fall-Winter 2016 collection now in stores is called « Love Rises ». It pays homage to our Japanese heritage and is inspired by the aesthetic and dreamscape created by Hayao Miyazaki in animated film The Wind Rises. Both men’s and women’s collections unveil silhouettes seen in the 1930’s with a hint of military influence. One of the key prints of the season are the « Landscape Camo » print - it represents a camouflage print reinterpreted in a poetic, playful way as we incorporated icons of Mount Fuji, elements of zen Japanese landscape… and the « All-over Bird » print which is a nod to The Wind Rises as in the film, the young boy dreams about building planes with bird wings #loverises #maisonkitsune
