Hey Friends! Once again, I am doing this because I believe in this campaign and I believe that organizations based on love and hope can make a positive difference. I gain nothing financially from this campaign, but what I do gain is being able to see the impact created in people's lives. By now, you’ve probably heard the story of the “hope” bracelet that I wear every day. It’s a simple reminder; encouraging me to never give up. It’s also become a symbol of hope for an incredible group of people in Honduras. When I think about the campaign we launched with @humanityandhope less than a year ago, I’m amazed and inspired by all that you guys have done. Together we raised over $50,000 for job initiatives and community development in the villages of La Corosa and Remolino! Men and women are escaping poverty by going to work and providing for their families. Kids of all ages are finally able to attend school. For the first time in their lives, people feel that they have value and worth. This has been an amazing campaign — and we’re not done yet! · Today I’m so excited to announce the next phase of “Get Hope. Give Hope.” We’re launching a pineapple farm! Why pineapple? Well, besides it being delicious and just looking cool, pineapple is one of the strongest crops in Remolino. Launching this new farm will provide even more people with jobs and strengthen the local economy in brand new ways. Communities will be rejuvenated, and families will prosper. · To celebrate, my friends at @mudlove have launched a new fundraising campaign with some beautiful, handcrafted products. We’ve got a new bracelet, a necklace, and a mug! Each piece incorporates an illustrated pineapple design featuring the word “hope”. Since we’re working with MudLOVE again, every product will also provide 1 week of clean water to someone in the Central African Republic through their nonprofit partner, @water_for_good. · Visit the link in my profile (http://mudlove.com/hope) to read the full story, view photos, and watch a video. I hope you’ll also consider making a purchase or donation to support the cause. Thanks so much for all of your love so far. I know that together we can make a real impact.
