Welcome to @monamuseum in @tasmania ? This extraordinary feat of architecture houses a remarkable collection of both old and new art, from ancient Egyptian artefacts to bizarre masterpieces of modern art. The building itself is a mind-boggling subterranean fortress, carved into an escarpment on the banks of the beautiful Derwent River in Tassie’s capital city of #Hobart. There’s an excellent restaurant and an onsite winery, and the views are pretty epic too. Tip: The exclusive MONA Roma ferry is THE way to get there – make sure you score a fibreglass sheep to sit on.
