The Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, has tweeted a photo of himself and wife, Dolapo Osinbajo, meeting with the 21 Chibok school girls who have been set free by Boko Haram after more than two years in captivity. His tweet included this message: “Dawn, dusk, almost a 1000 days. Twenty-one of our girls are back. It is my joy to welcome you home. The nation has been waiting for you.” Thursday’s release was the first since nearly 300 girls were taken captive in a case that provoked international outrage. (@ProfOsinbajo/Twitter)
