Happy Doom Patrol Day!!! ➖? Issue 2 on stands now. Here are the two wonderful covers for this issue. On the left, we have @nickderington on the main cover, and on the right we have Mike @allredmd and Laura Allred on the variant.
On writing this issue: Having finished the first issue, I had gained some more confidence and really started to settle in with the 'Patrol. I find Larry Trainor to be a very sympathetic character, and wanted to explore his damage, while having Cliff cause some. Lots of fun little things in this issue, and a nod to Rachel Pollack in the Niles strip. Was very hard to write this one but I felt like I had it in my grasp the whole time. It always feels like there is so much to do with these issues, and that’s a great problem to have right now. And I’m literally having the time of my life writing this book— I think people can tell.
I really appreciate the support, and hope you keep reading these as they come out— lots more surprises in store! I get more and more excited for the next issues to come out. Lots of love.
