Mom: Hey! How was the wedding?
Me: Good good
Dad: Meet any lucky ladies??
Me: ehhh not really
(Dad exits the room)
(Mom turns to me and pauses)
Mom: hey baby, are you gay?
Me: Actually... I am
Mom: That's great, we love you
(Me sobbing into my leftover sandwich happy tears)
It gets sooooo much better.
