Friends, we must end this dark chapter in the American Veterinary profession and the only way we can do that is with your help. Around 80% of vets in America declaw cats and most of them are deceiving cat owners to believe that it is ok and safe to do to their cats and they make great money profiting from this barbaric and unnecessary procedure. Declawing is a billion dollar business in America.
The big vet ass. like the @avmavets , American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) & American Association of Feline Practitioners aren't doing much to help end declawing because they don't want to lose their due paying pro-declaw vets. These organizations come out with politically correct declawing positions but don't enforce them & just look the other way to this injustice.
In other words, these prodeclaw vets aren't going to be stopping anytime soon.
In the next few weeks I'm going to be working on a campaign that will help make this happen through YOUR help. There will be specific steps you can take like calling YOUR vet and asking them to stop declawing and if they won't then let them know you will be taking your business to an ethical no-declaw vet. Another idea would be to call up other vet practices in your area to try to find humane vet practices that don't declaw cats, that we can add to our lists of vets who are honoring their oath to heal.
You will be a declaw warrior who will personally be helping this cause. But we must get massive public support so please start to get your family, friends, and co-workers interested in helping us with this important cause to end this barbaric and mutilating process. #BeAPart of #CatHistory
