Watching @missrepresentation researching for a Big Sister project w @jordcohayney @ellieaaustin_ has me thinking ?? How can we work towards alleviating this pressure on the superficial aspects of our identity as females when this is how the media predominantly focuses on us? The cycle continues as the female role models for young girls are presented in the same way, scrutinised and celebrated for their external beauty. Regardless of how we look, the pressure affects us all and it means we have a lot less mental space to value and focus on the rest of our identity as humans ?
