Tomorrow is Cielo's third birthday. She was 4 days old when I found out about her existence. She was going to be sold to a pet store in Monterrey, Mexico, to have pictures taken with people for money. After a couple of months of being exploited, who knows where she would have ended. So I moved back from LA to take care of her, or actually, it took me 20 months to go back to LA since I stayed in Mexico with her. She was 2 weeks old when I saw her for the first time with my own eyes since she was not sent to me before because she was too small and I never touched one of these type of Angels before. When I first saw her in the wooden crate where she arrived, I just told her: "I'm going to Love you for the rest of my life". The following week Chiquitin arrived, and for the next 2 months we were super happy. And then, in the middle of December, the biggest crying baby arrived, I called her Tierra, and the following week, my first boy, Dharma, and on the first week of January, Karma came to us and my life was complete. On August 15 of 2014, 10 months after I rescued Cielo, I decided to open the Foundation since I already learned a lot about what these Angels go through in our country and around the Planet. By that time, I had already rescued around 15 kids and was a single dad. And then, all Heaven broke lose. Thank you for being part of us, your support is allowing us to help OUR PLANET.
